24. The Irish Angel: Amanda Coleman; A Rape Survivor Offering Opportunities to Inform, Heal, and Promote a Healthy Lifestyle for First Responders.
Amanda Coleman has an intriguing and captivating story of how she “fell into” becoming the Irish Angel. But to know how truly incredible her story of helping first responders and military veterans fight through their personal battles of PTSD, PTSI, TBI, addictions, mental health issues, and all things trauma-related, you have to first know about how Amanda survived her own childhood sexual abuse at the hands of a close family member, followed by the betrayal and rape at the hands of others throughout her life. Amanda isn’t afraid to talk about it because she says that it was all of her life-long traumas that made her into the advocate and fighter she is today.
